Is your New Years goal to get in shape - check yourself out in MIRROR

So, caveat, the MIRROR is only available in the US, so us Canucks will have to find other ways in order to find this direct kind of motivation.

The idea here is, and we've seen similar DIY projects in the past, that there's a smart mirror.

A mirror you can mount in your house that has a smart display embedded in it.  We've seen ones where they have a dashboard in the corner of the weather or a calendar, etc...

This steps that up a notch by having an overlaid screen that is 'in front' of your mirror image.

This allows them to then have a display of more information, even full videos of trainers showing you what your workout moves should look like.

Sounds pretty cool.

No excuse now to say you pass by your mirror to do your workout or see your motivation.

Paired with a phone app (they now have Android as well as iOS) you then have to look through and help you pick your trainer or classes (which I'm assuming come at a price as well).

Currently on sale for under $500USD.

Check it out:

MIRROR is the first nearly invisible, interactive home gym that gained massive popularity for its ability to stream a variety of fitness classes (yoga, barre, Pilates, boxing, cardio, etc) + 1:1 personal training. Until now, MIRROR has only been available for iOS.

On November 13th, in response to growing demand, MIRROR will announce it has expanded to mobile capabilities to Android.

Android users can now enjoy access to the 70+ live classes recorded each week, as well as the hundreds of thousands of on-demand fitness classes — and as of last month, one-on-one Personal Training.

Any interest in running with this news for Android Coliseum? Let me know your thoughts and don’t hesitate with any questions. Plugging in some key facts about MIRROR below.

Thanks!
