The Pixel 2 XL is my go to phone these days. Having something to protect it is important, but it can't be too big.

Now, not my favourite choice for the Pixel 2 XL, it does have its advantages.
So, let me first talk about why I didn't like it so much. Essentially, the cut away for the buttons are the deal breaker. I don't know why. It just feels somewhat broken up or something.
Getting it on was a little trickier. Not too hard tho', the little notches at the bottom help with its flexibility. getting it out was almost comical trying to get one corner out and then the other but it would snap back, etc...
It doesn't look like it would provide protection to the glass if put face down, but you can just notice that the top and bottom of the frame has a little 'chin' that juts out just enough so that it rests on those. Not as good as if it was higher than the glass all around, but still good.
And, no flaps to worry about.
I do like how stiff it is ... makes you feel like the phone could survive a good bump.
