Are we going to see a 'Nexus' or is it going to be branded differently?

Looks like we will be seeing a new branding from Google and it's not going to be labelled "Nexus" this time around. A big emphasis on the software experience seems to be at the core of it all.

We're seeing lots of report from all over the internet that this year, Google's next phone isn't going to be labelled with the branding "Nexus", of course, we don't have concrete information, but everything points to it. Will likely see a tweaked interface on top of the standard Android OS that we've been used to. It would appear to be in-line with the revelations we've been seeing of the new device by Evan Blass on Twitter.

This brings a shift to the usual strategy that Google has taken when it came to its Nexus line of devices and more so when you take into consideration the latest Android Nougat which seems to be quite different for the next line up of devices that Google will release in the fall.

I'll be taking a closer look and I'll keep my ears peeled to see what comes out of it.
