Unfortunately the Samsung Galaxy S2 has run it's life for updates. THE phone, dare I say, that put Samsung really in the forefront for Android phones. I knew dozens of folks who picked it up.Last we heard about updates was that it 'should' receive the update to 4.2.2, however that has just been downgraded to a 'no'.
The reason stems from:
adjustment problems in the TouchWiz interface
Not sure what that means exactly, but it's somewhat understandable as the device is now over 2 years old.
Now, Connect.de reported that this was for the i9100 version, so there's no telling if that intends to carry over to our Canadian models, but that's really going out on a limb.
Looks like it's time for you SGS2 folk to fire up some CM goodies.
