Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (LTE) Kit Kat Images now downloadable

If you're waiting for the Kit Kat update for your Nexus 4 or Nexus 7 (LTE version), and are tired of waiting for the OTA... you can now go and download from the Android Developer's site:  https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images

Now... to wait or just flash?  It's been a long day for me, and I've got a hectic early morning... hrmm...

I might just wait on it, as throwing on the flashed image will definitely cause me to lose root.
