Gemini 3 is here

I am surprised with myself how often I'm using Gemini for just about anything these days.  Having the professional account from my Pixel 10 Pro is so helpful.

Today, Google is releasing their Gemini 3.

Now, I see it when I load up the site, but nothing in my phone app yet.

Today Google introduced Gemini 3, their most intelligent model, that combines all of Gemini’s capabilities together so you can bring any idea to life.

Summary of the news from Google:

  • Today we’re taking another big step on the path toward AGI and releasing Gemini 3 – our most intelligent model that helps you bring any idea to life.
  • It’s the best model in the world for multimodal understanding, and our most powerful agentic and vibe-coding model yet, delivering richer visualizations and deeper interactivity— all built on a foundation of state-of-the-art reasoning.

Other key announcements:

  • We’ve redesigned the Gemini app, experimenting with a visual layout and dynamic view. And, we’re introducing Gemini Agent, an experimental feature that handles multi-step tasks directly inside Gemini, like organizing your inbox or booking a rental car for an upcoming trip.
  • We’re also introducing Gemini 3 Deep Think — our enhanced reasoning mode that pushes Gemini 3 performance even further.
  • We’re also releasing Google Antigravity, our new agentic development platform that enables developers to operate at a higher, task-oriented level.

Here is where Gemini 3 will be available in Canada today:

  • For consumers: in the Gemini app
  • For developers: in the Gemini API in AI Studio, our new agentic development platform, Google Antigravity; and Gemini CLI.
  • For enterprises: in Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise.

Here is where Gemini 3 will be available in US-only:

  • AI Mode in Search for US-based Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
  • Gemini Agent is available for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US only.
