Googlebooks are now available for pre-order

I'm so excited for this and my cursor is hovering around the pre-order button.

Googlebooks - the latest offering of Google's Chromebooks, but not quite; they're more tightly aligned with Android but still a Chromebook style.  They will run AluminumOS vs ChromeOS.  AluminumOS is described as a dual platform for Android and Chrome/Desktop.

I've been a big fan of Chromebooks and run my day to day with a Chromebase, run around with the Pixelbook Go, and my wife uses the OG Pixelbook; they're not SUPER fast anymore, but they still manage everything we do and I love the integration I have with my Google account and phone.

What will Googlebooks do more of ... not quite sure; but I'm here for it.

Check out the initial offering here from the Google site

So, 5 new offerings in this new space and every order includes a year of Google's AI Pro plan (a $26.99 monthly value), which is awesome.

Not a lot of 'variety' in terms of offerings outside of the brand, and processor.  For me I'm looking to see if they're touchscreen, dual USB connection (on either side) as well as flippable display.  Not that it'd be a deal breaker, but... points in a column.

What ones are you interesting you?
