For those that may have seen my posts on Google+, you may have seen that I was excited about heading off to New York last week, but then the flight got cancelled (stupid winter that never seems to go away) ... well, it was off to get a sneak peek at this beauty. The Huawei P20 lineup.
And I say beauty because look at it... looks sleek. I did like the P10, and as much as we know that there's not much you can do about 'upping specs' each year, you have to make the specs 'better', not larger.
They've given the Pro 3 lenses, the lenses are using Leica (I still drool over owning a Leica some day), it's got the immersive 18.7:9 ratio that leaves it so seemingly bezel-less and sure... has the notch, but it's not so big.
So there are 2 models, the P20 and the P20 Pro released. Now, unlike the US, it will be available at most carriers here in Canada via Bell, Rogers, Telus, Videotron, Fido and Koodo, so check out the differences:

That is some price tag, I'll admit... but as they said, the MSRPs are yet to be set by the carriers.
But those are some impressive specs. 128GB RAM
And that camera. Looking forward to seeing how that performs in the real world! Beat out the Pixel 2 in DxO.

The HUAWEI P20 Series reflects the art of light, with camera features that enhance the smartphone

The HUAWEI P20 Pro features a Leica triple camera with the highest total pixel count on a smartphone available in the market – the camera configuration is comprised of a 40MP RGB sensor, a 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP sensor with telephoto lens. It also features a colour temperature sensor for better colour reproduction. With f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 wide aperture to capture crisp, clear details, the HUAWEI P20 Pro also includes a brand new Leica 3x telephoto (VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.6-2.4/27-80ASPH) lens for long-range photography of up to 5x Hybrid Zoom. The HUAWEI P20 Pro’s highly sensitive image sensor captures low light photos with up to ISO 102400.
