Any of our followers into personalizing their phone interface? Themes, icon packs, wallpaper, sound etc?

Android has grown a lot since it's early days over the last few years. One of the aspect that no one can deny, is the ability to make your phone look AWESOME.

Anyone that isn't new to Android is already familiar with this, but what about the newcomers who are switching from their iPhone or Blackberry to Android?

One of the first things you'll need is a new launcher. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then I'll make it easy, it's what you see when you turn your screen on, the icons, the drawer, the clock etc.

There's quite a few options for launcher replacement and in the end it will be what works for you, but in case you're not sure on how to go about this, I'll provide you 5 alternative launchers;

1. Nova
2. Apex
3. Go Launcher
4. Smart Launcher 2
5. Action Launcher 3

It's important to note that some of the launchers are similar options and features, but they are all different in the way they want to achieve the user experience. It will be good to note, that not everything is free and yes, you may be required to fork some dollars.

The next item that these launchers have in common is the ability to use icon packs. Google Play Store has hundreds of them and I'm sure there's a flavor for everyone out there. One the best way to look for those icon packs is using keywords like; nova icon pack, go launcher icons etc. The preview below are linked to the Google Play Store to each of their respective download.

How about we go over something a bit easier? Like changing the wallpaper and getting some different sounds or ringtone? There's several applications you can select from, but one of them stands out more than others; Zedge.

If offers a huge selection of wallpapers, ringtones and notification sounds. There's absolutely everything and anything.

Are you getting the hang of it yet? Good!

What about an all in one solution? There's an APP for that! It's called; Themer. This is an all in one launcher, icons, widgets, themes etc. You'll be able to browse a growing list of themes created by some very creative people out there.

Before Themer was born, you had to use multiple tools and tutorial to achieve the desired theme, then came Themer from MyColorScreen which streamed line the process and made it mainstream for anyone to use. The results;
