HTC One Kit Kat might be a little late; but it's imminent

When the 4.4 Kit Kat was announced all sorts of OEMs have started to announce which of their devices will get the update.

We heard that HTC had said their Google Edition's One will get it within 15 days.  By my watch that puts it as due out yesterday.

Well, they seemed to meet their deadline, and now it's in the hands of Google into how they push it out.

Good news, we've delivered KitKat code to Google for HTC One GPE. Timing of push via PlayStore to be determined by Google.

So, hopefully not much longer (imminently +Mark Lastiwka?) for the Google Edition devices. For the regular edition devices, you're still looking about end of January (but as +Tom Gray reminds anybody that their both the same device, so if you want to go ahead and not wait, you could install that update... removing Sense... but it'll be 4.4).
