By now I think it's safe to say that you've probably seen some post about the new YouTube for Android being release v5.0.21
With that said I went ahead and grabbed the APK and installed it. It's a hefty 20mb download for the update.

Some of the stuff that you'll notice fairly fast:
- A new card-bases UI, completely refreshed and looking amazing.
- In-App multitasking and to know what it feels like you actually have to be using it. You have the ability to make the video smaller and thus allowing to keep browsing on YouTube while the video is playing.
- You want to get back to your video? Simply tap the little window and boom, done.
- One aspect that is interesting is playing with the volume by swiping left or right on the small video to change the volume from up or down. Test it you'll see.
- The nice slick UI slide in and out for the navigation menu.
- You'll have quick access to your favorites, history etc...
- The APP does have a refresh icon look in the app drawer.
