Rogers, Telus, Bell, Fido, Virgin, Koodo APN List

Flashing roms and unlocking your Android really release the true potential of your device. However, sometimes we'll have to input the APN in ourselves to get our data and MMS working again. This is also an issue when unlocking some phones.

[reminder:  all these settings (and more) are in our database page]

It's not as common now with newer phones, but is still occasionally an issue. When you've unlocked a phone, it won't update its APN to the new carrier, which will result in your MMS and Data not working.

For example: I have a Telus phone I bought off craigslist that's unlocked. I want to use it on Rogers, so I pop in my Rogers Sim card. Some phones don't automatically program the APN settings to the new carrier settings, so you'll have to manually do it yourself to get everything working again. This is also sometimes an issue with flashing new roms that don't have predefined APNs built in.

To change your APN settings, do the following: Settings > More... > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names. Some phones may have slightly different names and/or location for the APN settings, but they're always relatively in the same area.

Down below is a list of many of the popular carriers in Canada. Find the network you're currently trying to get setup and make sure your APN matches. If you're APN list is empty, create a new on with the settings down below that match the carrier you're trying to connect to.
