Google Drive updated with a better UI and more

It's very hard for me to talk to new Android users as I just have so much info I'd want to share with them.

Especially if they want to use it for work, and it's a new business... I just want to promote Google Apps and show off Google Drive on the go.  I wish I could go to Apps for our work.

Being able to take the files you're working with on the go, and then be able to work

Today the app updated itself with some new features.

Here's what today's update brings us:

  • New grid view makes it easier to find your files
  • New quick preview lets you view photos and other files from within the app
  • Scan documents, receipts and letters for safe keeping in Drive; then search by contents once uploaded
  • Download a copy of files to your local device (Honeycomb+)
  • Spreadsheet editor now supports changing fonts, colors and cell alignment
  • View properties of files from within the editors
  • Bug fixes and visual improvements

Nice slide out drawer!

Nice 'card' like design.  The 'editors' themselves don't look any different.

A new 'scan' feature.  I don't think it's quite worked for me yet, but cool...  Just like the desktop option.
