Galaxy Note 2 - 4.1.2 update next week

Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 - it's a powerhouse of a phone.  First to display the quadcore exynos WITH LTE as well.  It came out of the box with 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Now it's going to get even better.  Bringing with it the +.0.1 increment it'll also have the new Multi Window feature.
I remember +Tom Gray showing off the international version he had on one of our Hangouts and he was playing with the dual window option.  Neat, but it was only allowable for certain Samsung apps.

Tom did find a way around that, but I'll let him tell you how to do it.

Well, the update we're seeing some time next week according to Samsung Canada will bring the multi-window option.  Whether it's limited to their choice of apps or not, we'll have to wait and see.

I was hoping for their full new suite of cool features we saw a while back, like enhancements to camera modes, etc...

Here's what Samsung Canada had to say:

“Samsung Canada announced today the upcoming availability of the latest update for the GALAXY Note II smartphone, which offers Multi Window allowing users to interact with two separate applications simultaneously.
The OS update (Android 4.1.2) gives customers the ability to personalize and customize their smartphone experience and interact with two apps at the same time. Samsung Canada now allows GALAXY Note II customers to change app positions within the Multi Window in addition to having the capability of using Pop Up Video while using Multi Window.
Also, included in this software update is the inclusion of both simplified and traditional Chinese language support. Easily accessible from the device’s settings menu, the software can change the language for most menus and applications and also support handwriting of Chinese characters to be transposed into text.”

I had reviewed the Note 2 a while back, here's the video if you'd like to watch.
